Is My Project a Fit?

Send us a few photos, approximate dimensions and a description of what you are trying to accomplish. If it fits MH Carpentry's experience and approach, we will explain the next step. If the project requires a specialist outside our scope, we will be straightforward about that too.

Custom Carpentry FAQ

Do you take very small custom jobs?

Selectively. MH Carpentry is generally best suited to projects with a meaningful carpentry scope or where a custom-built solution adds value.

Can you work from my sketch or idea?

Often, yes. For appropriate projects, we can help refine an initial concept into workable dimensions and construction details.

Can you work from architect or engineer drawings?

Yes.

Can you subcontract for another contractor?

Yes, depending on scope and schedule.

Can you prefabricate something off-site?

Potentially. Transportation dimensions, site access and final installation requirements need to be considered during planning.

What if my project is not a good fit?

We will tell you. MH Carpentry would rather be straightforward about the limits of our scope than take on work we cannot confidently stand behind.
